Sicknick’s remains will lie in state at the very building he died defending, inside the Capitol’s Rotunda. The distinguished honor is typically only bestowed upon former presidents, military officials and members of Congress....

Shortly after Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with his European counterparts on Thursday, State Department spokesperson Ned Price released a statement saying the U.S. was ready for a meeting with the other signatories of the JCPOA, including Iran. Also on Thursday, the U.S. rescinded former President Donald Trump’s claimed restoration of United Nations sanctions on Iran, a move that was opposed by the other JCPOA signatories and the UN Security Council....

The president issued 11 proclamations on April 30. Proclamations are statements that serve a variety of functions, such as issuing a directive, acknowledging an event or person, or expounding a policy.
