The poll was conducted from September 2 to 6 among 1,643 U....

The latest survey data from SurveyMonkey and Axios also revealed Biden is 9 points ahead of Trump in a third battleground state, signaling the Democratic nominee has a strong chance of winning the electoral college on November 3. According to the pollster’s candidate preference tracker, Biden led Trump by 12 percentage points in the neighboring states of Minnesota and Wisconsin. The former vice president picked up 55 percent support among likely voters in the two states, while Trump was backed by 43 percent....

Aid to financially vulnerable households—the category that includes increased unemployment benefits, housing assistance, health insurance subsidies and extension of programs—is estimated to have the greatest effect on GDP, increasing it by nearly 10 cents per dollar of aid in the second quarter of this year, according to the study....

The White House on Sunday issued a scathing statement after Democratic Senator Manchin of West Virginia reversed course and firmly declined to vote in favor of Biden’s ambitious spending bill. “I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation.
