The Senate voted 52-48 to rescind the requirement using the Congressional Review Act (CRA), which allows Congress to nullify regulations imposed by a variety of federal agencies. During a Sunday interview with CNN host Dana Bash, Manchin scoffed at the size of Biden’s plan, but said he could get behind two separate bills: one for trains, planes and internet; and a second for medical, human-focused infrastructure. Johnson addressed the House of Commons on Tuesday to answer questions over the alleged poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal in Salisbury. Skripal and his daughter Yulia are critically ill in hospital after being found unconscious on Sunday afternoon. Counter Terrorism Police have now taken over the investigation, while Russia has denied any involvement, with a government spokesperson saying it has “no information” relating to the incident.
