U.S. District Court Judge R. Stan Baker, who was appointed by former President Donald Trump, issued the latest ruling in a wave of victories for contractors and states that have vehemently pushed back against the coronavirus mandates. In his ruling, Baker said that a lawsuit filed from seven states is likely to succeed in their claim that President Joe Biden overstepped his authority when he first issued the public health measure in September....

Haart, 51, is the star of hit Netflix series My Unorthodox Life, which follows her and her family after their decision to leave an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, and has returned for a brand new series. As well as Haart, the show, which premiered in July 2021, also features her eldest three children (Shlomo, Batsheva and Miriam Haart) who now live with her in Manhattan. Assange, an Australian citizen, faces 17 charges in the U.S. under the Espionage Act relating to classified documents that were leaked in 2010 and 2011, which the U.S. says broke the law and endangered lives. At a news conference Friday, Garland pledged to double the size of the agency’s Civil Rights Division within the next 30 days. Taylor, who was asleep when the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) entered her home just after midnight on March 13, was shot eight times by police officers and killed. Fields was slow to get up after a hit by Dee Alford late in the fourth quarter and was seen holding his non-throwing shoulder while walking to the sidelines. The second-year quarterback already appeared to be banged up before that final drive. Young Dolph, real name Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was shot and killed on November 17 at bakery Makeda’s Homemade Cookies in Memphis, Tennessee. The 36-year-old musician, a father of two, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Memphis Police Department has now named Justin Johnson, 23, as one of two suspects, revealing that he was wanted on first-degree murder. Tuck is schedule to become an unrestricted free agent after this season and it remains to be seen how much money the Giants are willing to pay a player who will turn 31 in March. There is no doubt that Tuck has put up the right numbers in the final year of his contract. He has a team-high nine sacks and has played well against the run, according to defensive coordinator Perry Fewell....
