The Missouri senator also led the Senate GOP effort to object to President Joe Biden’s Electoral College victories in key swing states, giving credence to Trump’s misinformation that the 2020 election was “rigged” or “stolen.” In a prime-time televised hearing on Thursday, the House select committee played a clip of Hawley running to escape as the rioters he’d previously cheered on attacked the Capitol on January 6....

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), a labor union, organized Tuesday’s protest. There was a gathering outside the federal courthouse by Hawley’s St. Louis office calling on him to resign. Cars also circled the building six times, once for each of those whose deaths were linked to last week’s unrest at the U.S. Capitol. Some protesters at the event said that he “has blood on his hands,” KSDK reported....

Over the course of the series, Josh, Tiger and Wolf have gone back and forth through the past, present and future. While Hutcherson won’t give away too many details about exactly how they will save humanity, he does admit it’s his favorite season....

Still, the flaws in Smith’s game always make discussion before his talents. Sure, he spent a lot of time on the perimeter on offense, but he’s a career 28.5 percent 3-point shooter. When they were just 17 years old, Cain Joshua Storey and Darrell Lee Clark, were wrongfully convicted of the death of 15-year-old Brian Bowling. The teenager died from a gunshot wound to the head in 1996 that investigators in Rome, Georgia quickly ruled as accidentally self-inflicted after he’d told his girlfriend on the phone he was playing Russian Roulette with a gun. But within six months Storey and Clark were arrested for plotting to kill Bowling and sentenced to life in prison....

A spokesperson for the Utah County Sheriff’s Office’s confirmed to Salt Lake City-based KSL-TV that the man was arrested on December 14, one day after the channel’s website published an investigation revealing Homer had sexually assaulted several women over the past ten years, but his sentences amounted to less than a month in jail altogether. According to the Utah-based TV station, Homer has been arrested at least nine times during his life for cases involving domestic violence and sex crimes....
