After three months of handing out a bizarre “Spacey in Space” sweatshirt featuring Kevin Spacey’s face to MVPs of victories, the Panthers welcomed the Academy Award-winning actor in front of a franchise-record 20,817 fans.

After being dubbed Florida’s good luck charm, Spacey hinted at attending a game in a video posted to his Twitter on Thursday, which showed him packing his custom Fetty Wap Panthers jersey.

The added star-power proved to not be powerful enough, though, as Florida fell 5-3 to Detroit. Nonetheless, the Panthers still sit atop the Atlantic Division with the playoffs set to begin on April 13.
