Reigning MVP Kevin Durant, who played in just 19 games because of a foot injury, took to Instagram on Wednesday night to comment on Brooks’ firing.
While many were tough on Brooks for his lack of in-game strategy, Durant enjoyed playing for Brooks and enjoyed spending time with him. But as a business man, Durant understands his team’s desire to move forward.

With Durant becoming a free agent after next season, the hiring of a new coach will be especially important.
