Faried was hit in the head and neck area by teammate Will Barton while fighting for a rebound late in the overtime period.

Medical personnel attended to Faried on the sideline following the play. He later sat down along the baseline before being put on a stretcher after the game ended.
Yahoo! Sports reported that Faried told medical personnel he had feeling in his hands and feet and was heading to the hospital for precautionary x-rays.
Faried finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds in 29 minutes against the Warriors.
