The model, 26, dressed up as Jessie this year from the Pixar animated film. The cowgirl doll, voiced by Joan Cusack, appeared in the sequels as one of the movies’ main characters.
Over the weekend, The Kardashians star showed off her famous figure in a pair of tiny jean shorts and cow print chaps complete with a red hat.
“Well aren’t you just the sweetest space toy,” Jenner captioned two photos of the front and back.
In the comments, however, countless people accused the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum of “sexualizing” the children’s film.
“Oh now we’re sexualizing kids animations ayy?” one person asked, receiving more than 1,200 likes at the time of publication.
“Why sexualize a character that is for children??? Seriously, why???” a second added, which garnered a similar amount of likes.
“Sorry but, in my opinion (despite you care [sic] about it or not), it’s not appropriate to make everything [hot] and sexy, leave something for kids for God’s sake,” a third said, while a fourth chimed in, “It’s a kids’ movie WHY?!?”
“Distasteful! Sorry… something about a child’s toy with its backside exposed is a turn off,” a fifth said, as someone else replied, “This is ridiculous. It’s Halloween and you’re just sexualizing a child’s character.”
“What a way to ruin a movie,” another fumed.
Newsweek reached out to Jenner’s representative for comment.
Others, however, praised Jenner.
“So good!” model Gigi Hadid wrote.
“Awwwwwwwwww my baby,” sister Khloé Kardashian commented.
“Cuteeeee!” late basketball star Kobe Bryant’s daughter Natalia Bryant said.
“Cutieeeee,” former Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge added, while singer Normani simply posted a slew of heart eye emojis.
Jenner has always enjoyed getting dressed up for Halloween, as the holiday falls close to her birthday on November 3. In the past, she’s dressed as Pamela Anderson in Barb Wire, Chanel’s late creative director Karl Lagerfeld, Mario from Super Mario game series and more.
This isn’t the first time a member of the famous family has been criticized for their Halloween costume.
Earlier this year, Khloé Kardashian was under fire after a photo resurfaced of the Good American co-founder appearing to be a pimp and holding Black women, including friend Malika Haqq and actress Meagan Good, on leashes.
While Kardashian has never addressed the 2003 image, Good previously spoke out about it.
“That one time on Halloween when you were young and dumb… and clearly didn’t think 15 years ahead lol smh,” she said in a 2019 Instagram comment. “Well, mistakes were made.”
