The crossover will take place over two episodes, one NCIS and one NCIS: Hawai’i, airing back-to-back on CBS on Monday, March 28.

Here is everything you need to know about the big event.

Katrina Law Shares What To Expect From NCIS and NCIS Hawai’i Crossover

The NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i crossover puts the shows’ teams together after NCIS Special Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) discovers an old case he thought closed has a new lead.

Torres heads over to Hawaii with fellow team member Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) to meet with Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) and her crew after Tennant shares insight on the case.

Law spoke about the NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i crossover in an interview with TVLine where she teased what fans can expect.

“Nick has apparently been working on this case off and on for several years and he was told he solved it five years ago, but it never really sat right with him,” Law said.

“He was looking for what he thinks is the right answer and suddenly the guy he’s been looking for all these years pops up in Hawaii so he gets a message from Jane Tennant saying ‘hey I have your dude do you want to pop over to Hawaii and check it out?’

“So he does and Nick being Nick we all know he likes to get into a little bit of trouble, so then Parker [Gary Cole’s character] sends me over to bring the files and to make sure Nick doesn’t get shot.”

Law, who previously starred in Hawaii Five-0 as Quinn Liu, added that being on set for NCIS Hawai’i felt like “coming home” because it gave her the chance to reunite with many of her former crew members.

The actor also teased that fans can expect “unique sparks” to fly between Jess and Jason Antoon’s Ernie Malik, saying that her experience of working with Antoon was so fun she hopes they have more crossovers in future.

Lachey and Valderrama also spoke ahead of the crossover to discuss what was to come, though neither gave away too much information.

In a behind-the-scenes video from set shared by ET Online, Valderrama gushed: “Vanessa and I have had a friendship for maybe almost two decades.

“What was really exciting was to have both of our shows and our families kind of meet and somehow connect our universes together.”

Lachey added that it was “still very humbly welcoming Wilmer, but Tennant is reluctantly welcoming Torres, so that dynamic is going to be fun to see. What a dynamic, T’N’T! [referencing their characters’ surnames Torres and Tennant].”

NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i crossover event begins with NCIS’ “Starting Over” at 9 p.m. ET and continues with NCIS: Hawai’i’s “T’N’T” at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
