Dembele, 13, made his bow for Scotland U16’s in a clash with Wales last November, but has kept his international options open.
FA to appeal against FIFA poppy fine
After the game against Turkey, Dembele, who is also able to represent the Ivory Coast, posted a picture to his Instagram account with the caption “Good experience at England, glad to have won 5-3 against Turkey and have assisted 1, played well.”
The youngster, who has been generating plenty of hype since making his debut for Celtic’s U20 side, doesn’t have to make a commitment on his international future until he makes an appearance for either England or Scotland in a full competitive international.
