On Thursday, December 1, the musician, who goes by Ye, shared the image of the swastika over the Star of David, a symbol of Judaism, with the caption: “YE24 LOVE EVERYONE.” The tweet was removed shortly after.

He then wrote: “Let’s always remember this as my final tweet,” alongside an unflattering image of Twitter’s CEO Elon Musk on a yacht.

Musk reportedly replied: “That is fine,” to the picture of him on a boat, but wrote: “This is not,” in response to the deleted swastika tweet.

He later confirmed to a fellow Twitter user that he had suspended West’s account for “incitement to violence.”

West, 45, is then said to have begun posting on former U.S. president Donald Trump’s social media platform Truth Social.

There, West shared text messages he had allegedly exchanged with Musk, who told the rapper: “Sorry, but you have gone too far. This is not love.”

West then responded: “Who made you the judge,” before sharing a screenshot of his Twitter account showing he had been banned from tweeting for 12 hours.

West only returned to Twitter in November after he was previously suspended in October for posting antisemitic remarks.

Twitter locked West’s account on October 10 after he posted: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.”

“The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

West, who shares four children with former partner Kim Kardashian, appeared to have written “death con 3” in reference to the U.S. military defense alert state known as DEFCON.

In the weeks since, the star has made numerous comments about the Jewish community, and even said he “sees good things about Hitler” during an appearance on InfoWars with Alex Jones and Nick Fuentes.

“I see good things about Hitler also,” West said. “Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.”

“We’ve got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time,” West added.

In response to West’s remarks, Jones said, “You’ve got a bit of a Hitler fetish going on.”

West’s most recent suspension from Twitter comes just hours after all tweets referencing far-right figure Fuentes were removed from his account.

Kardashian’s ex-husband caused a stir in the past week after sharing a video detailing his meeting with Trump and Fuentes at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

In the video, West said Trump was “impressed” with Fuentes, a known Holocaust denier and white supremacist.

Newsweek has contacted representatives of West for comment.
