The poll, which was conducted by Morning Consult/Politico, shows 66 percent of respondents saying they have an unfavorable view of West compared to 17 percent that said the opposite, giving him a net favorability rating of negative 49.

The poll surveyed 1,983 U.S. adults from August 9 to August 10 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.

Among different racial demographics, the poll found West receiving a net favorability of negative 41 among Black voters: 21 percent favorable and 62 percent unfavorable. Comparatively, white voters gave West a negative 51 net favorability rating, as 16 percent said favorable and 67 percent said the opposite.

West received his lowest net favorability rating among female voters, as only 12 percent said they had a favorable opinion of him, while 71 percent said unfavorable. Among female voters, West’s net favorability rating is negative 59, according to the poll.

The poll found presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden receiving a net favorability of negative one: 47 percent favorable to 48 percent unfavorable. Trump received a net favorability rating of negative 16, as 57 percent said they had an unfavorable view compared to 41 percent that said the opposite.

In a poll conducted by Quinnipiac University in 2016, Trump received a similar net favorability rating of negative 49, as 20 percent said they had a favorable opinion of him, compared to 69 percent that said the opposite. According to Real Clear Politics tracking of national polls, this was Trump’s lowest net favorability rating.

This poll surveyed 1,711 registered voters from May 19 to May 25, 2015 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.4 percentage points.

In comparison, Biden’s lowest net favorability rating was negative 18, according to a poll conducted by CNBC/Change Research. This poll found 36 percent of respondents saying they had a favorable view of Biden, compared to 53 percent that said the opposite.

The CNBC/Change Research poll surveyed 1,489 likely voters from May 1 to May 3, 2020 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

The poll conducted by Morning Consult/Politico, also found only two percent of respondents saying they’d vote for West if the election were held today. Forty-nine percent said they would vote for Biden and 40 percent said they’d vote for Trump.

West also received very little support from Black voters, as only two percent said they’d vote for him, compared to 72 percent that sided with Biden and 14 percent that chose Trump.

Newsweek reached out to West for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
