In a video released Monday through Khloe Kardashian’s official app, West’s wife, Kim, told a story about how the rapper played the former Laker (his brother-in-law) his album during a hospital visit on Thanksgiving.

“We did visit Lamar today, and we played him (West’s) new album, and when it was done I said, ‘Did you like the music?’ And he said ‘I loved it,’” Kim said.
Odom is still married to Khloe Kardashian, but the two are estranged. Khloe has been open about her current relationship with Rockets guard James Harden. Odom and Khloe Kardashian were in the process of a divorce, but that was called off while Odom recovered in the hospital from a drug overdose.

Odom was placed on life support after he was found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel. His condition has improved since then, but he still has a difficult road to recovery.
