At some point during the TLC match - which the Kabuki Warriors won - it became clear that “The Pirate Princess” was not all there. It’s unclear what spot may have injured Sane, but certain points of the match did not go as planned.

Charlotte’s Spear onto Kairi didn’t go or look as devastating as intended. And Sane could barely get up for Charlotte’s Power Bomb on the table immediately following. It was also plain to see that Lynch and Flair were not hitting Sane with the chairs as hard as they would normally.

Monday afternoon, Kairi herself took to Twitter to show her followers that she’s ok.

We won’t speculate on Sane’s health, but Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline wrote on Twitter following TLC, “Kairi being medically checked out right now, may not have an actual diagnosis until the pre-RAW checkup.”

Tom Colohue a contributor for PWTorch, Fansided and Sportskeeda took to Twitter with his own update saying, “Hearing good news about Kairi Sane’s condition this morning. I’m being told she ‘wasn’t there during checkup’ but that she’s recovering well. At this point not cleared to wrestle pending a full assessment but she seems cheerful enough, if disappointed with herself.”

Newsweek has reached out to WWE for comment and will update if and when we receive one.

In the hours following the TLC main event, the three other women in the match took to Twitter to show their support for Kairi Sane.

Kairi was trending throughout the evening following the match’s conclusion as many fans speculated on the severity of any possible injury.

Asuka and Kairi Sane have been regular fixtures on Monday Night RAW in recent months so fans may learn more tonight when the latest episode goes on the air. A program between Asuka and Becky Lynch is almost a lock for the Royal Rumble in January so we may see “The Empress of Tomorrow” make an appearance with or without her partner.

The December 16 episode of Monday Night RAW will have a double taping, meaning that after the regularly scheduled live show at 8 p.m. EST, another three-hour show will be taped to play next Monday as the wrestlers and WWE staff go home for the holidays.
