The former third-round pick out of Notre Dame announced on Feb. 1 his intention to retire. He compiled 60.5 sacks and 318 tackles and two Pro Bowl seasons in nine years in New York. He also had two sacks apiece in Super Bowls XLII and XLVI, both victories over the Patriots.
Tuck signed a two-year, $11 million deal with the Raiders in 2014, but was put on the team’s injured reserve in October of last year with a chest injury. He registered six sacks, 35 tackles and an interception in two years at Oakland.
