Arians wasn’t the only Cardinal upset with Thomas’ actions. Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, considered by many to be one of the classiest players in the league, was furious with the hit following his team’s first loss of the season.
Thomas insisted that he is not a dirty player. Following his two-touchdown performance, the fourth-year player out of Portland State sought out Cardinals defensive back Antonio Cromartie to apologize for the accident.
The Cardinals had already been playing without one All-Pro defensive lineman in Darnell Dockett, who is out for the year with a knee injury. Now the team must move forward without their second best defensive lineman as well.
