The actress and model, 32, sat down with Emily Ratajkowski, 31, on the podcast High Low With EmRata, where she shared an insight about how she utilizes the paparazzi.

West, 45, now known as Ye, and Fox had a very public relationship at the start of 2022, with many of their public appearances going viral. It was seemingly Ye’s first relationship since his split with Kim Kardashian, 42, and the pair were snapped on numerous occasions, often wearing outlandish clothes.

“The paparazzi guy that I use, he’s like my friend now,” Fox told Ratajkowski in the most-recent episode of High Low With EmRata. “I pretty much only shoot with him, but I’ll also get papped sometimes at random.”

Fox came to prominence for her role in the Adam Sandler drama movie Uncut Gems, but has since become a mainstay in the tabloids as she wears unusual clothing out in public. She expanded on her situation with the photographers.

“It’s mutual. ‘Use’ isn’t the right word. He’s not hired, I’m not paying him. But I work with him, I guess. The one that I work with, because he is a brilliant photographer. We don’t even edit any of them,” said Fox.

“He’s such a brilliant photographer, I want him to shoot an editorial for me one day.” Fox added.

Asking about Fox’s recent career, Ratajkowski said, “So you just kind of were like, ‘Okay, I know I’m gonna get popped. This guy takes good photos of me and, like, I’m gonna serve looks?’”

“Yeah,” Fox said, before discussing her recent ex. “I also was coming off of you know, being in that relationship with the high-profile person who really showed me how to do it.

“But the ideas are mine. They were mine, and what am I going to do? Just stop now that we’re not togeth- a thing anymore? No, why would you because, first of all, I’m having so much fun, finding cool, fun, pretty much student fashion designers,” Fox said.

“That’s my favorite part. I just love finding these hidden gems of people and wearing the […] clothes. Then they get like their first write-up, and I feel really good about it. It’s a really nice ecosystem.”

Fox added that because she doesn’t get paid for this, she’s doing it as a service, which she acknowledged got her “dragged” in the media when she first said that.

“People dragged me like, ‘What’s the service?’ And I was like, ‘Umm, have you not seen the runways recently? Like, there’s a lot of Julia Fox-inspired looks and I’m not gonna pretend like I don’t see them.”

The photographer Fox appears to be referencing is Bobby Rachpoot, who is credited as taking the majority of her candid-style photographs in public places in 2022.

In September 2007, a picture posted to an Instagram account seemingly belonging to Rachpoot featured a picture of Fox posing alongside the photographer. “Haters beware.. She’s my ride or die,” the post said.

Earlier this November, Fox said on TikTok that she has autism, with many fans reacting supportively.

She also recently broadcast a rant on TikTok about billionaires, saying they shouldn’t exist. “There’s about 2,500 billionaires, they think, and cumulatively, they own the majority of the wealth of the world,” Fox said. “That’s why I used all of you. Yeah. Never loved any of you guys.”

After starring in Uncut Gems, Fox was part of an all-star cast for Steven Soderbergh’s movie No Sudden Move where she spoke to Newsweek, alongside actors Ray Liotta, Brendan Fraser and Amy Seimetz.
