As Sweat was being carted off the field on a stretcher, his Oscar Smith High School teammates showed their support by surrounding him as he was heading toward the ambulance.
Sweat reportedly was able to give the thumbs-up sign to the crowd before he was placed in the ambulance. The undecided 5-star recruit had plans to visit Virginia Tech on Saturday.
No news yet on the severity of the injury or how long Sweat may be sidelined.
