A few minutes into the first half of a game between Team Clutch vs. Jackson’s Team Innovate, Jackson began sniping back and forth with a ref while sitting on his team’s bench in sweats.

The referee initially let Jackson’s comments slide, but he continued to jaw back and forth on consecutive possessions up and down the court. Fed up, the ref called a stoppage in play and kicked Jackson off the bench.
As Jackson made his way off the bench, camp staff began joking with Jackson, telling him “don’t worry” because “we won’t see that ref in here tomorrow.”
Jackson turned around and spat “He told me to shut up. Ain’t nobody gonna talk to me like that” before walking away with some handlers.
He remained outside the players’ lounge inside the facility but did not return to watch the game.
Jackson had just returned to the states after winning a gold medal with the USA Basketball U19 team in Greece on Sunday.
