From SI’s article:
Gordon’s history of drug and alcohol abuse is well-documented. He was suspended as a sophomore in 2010 when police found Gordon and a teammate in a car with marijuana inside. He was kicked off the team a year later when he tested positive for marijuana, despite claiming Baylor coaches enabled his behavior by helping him pass drug tests. He then transferred to Utah, where he sat out in 2011 before leaving for the NFL’s 2012 supplemental draft.
Gordon will return to play for the NFL’s Cleveland Browns on Sunday for the first time since Week 16 of the 2014 NFL season. Still, he has been exceptionally forthcoming with his story. He will have a clean slate with which to work after his reinstatement.
