Damn, that was a posterization if we’ve ever seen one. It’s the basketball equivalent of Johnny sweeping Daniel LaRusso’s leg in “The Karate Kid.” McGee looked like he was contemplating entering the witness protection program just after the failed block attempt. Perhaps basket weaving is a viable career path moving forward.

In any case, there’s plenty of basketball to play after the Spurs’ 119-90 victory, and surely the Warriors will wipe away the bad memories of this loss . . . and their loss in the NBA Finals last season, when they blew a 3-1 series lead to the Cavaliers.
