Recently, 24 years after his conviction, 51-year-old Fleming was released from prison after a New York City judge overturned the ruling based on evidence that showed he was in Florida when Rush was murdered in Brooklyn's Williamsburg Houses.

Friday, Fleming, a Brooklyn native, enjoyed a Brooklyn Nets game for the first time, the Brooklyn Game noted. Fleming received a tour of the arena prior to the Nets' game against the Atlanta Hawks. 

This was a nice treat from the Nets, but Fleming's adjustment into society will continue beyond that game. Fleming spent over half of his life in prison and has stayed in a hotel paid for by his lawyers, as the New York Daily News wrote.
