Stewart discussed his love for wrestling many times on “The Daily Show” and has been a guest on “Monday Night Raw.” He has a friendly relationship with WWE world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins; Rollins appeared on the show multiple times.

SummerSlam is a four-hour event that will take place in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. It will air live at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on WWE Network. Among the highlights: a battle between Rollins and U.S. champ John Cena; a meeting between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker; and an appearance by Stephen Amell, the star of the CW Network series “Arrow.”
This will be Stewart’s first big event since leaving “The Daily Show” on Aug. 6.
