A rep for Reebok told TMZ Sports: “In light of recent events, we have made the decision to terminate our contract with Jon Jones, effective immediately.”
Jones lost his endorsement deal with Nike in September, and at first he said it was because of a pre-fight brawl he had with fellow UFC fighter Daniel Cormier. He would later say he lied about that, and changed his story.
In December Jones anounced his deal with Reebok. At the time the company said it was “looking forward to working” with Jones and Ronda Rousey, who signed a deal at the same time.
Jones also has an endorsement with Beats by Dre, but no announcement has been made regarding his status with that company.
