After receiving doughnuts from an anonymous Marlins player presumed to be Ichiro on Monday, Votto returned the favor to the newly minted member of the 3,000-hits club with 51 pregame pizzas.

The substantial amount of food gifted by Votto turned out to be game fuel for Ichiro, who raised his MLB hit total to 3,007, tying him with Al Kaline for 28th on the all-time list.
With a $225 million contract, Votto should keep up the generosity.
