Biden was speaking on Sunday at the Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, New York, when the individual fainted.
During his speech, Biden spoke about the importance of Tuesday’s midterm elections and the importance of defeating the Republicans.
In the clip, Biden can be heard repeatedly saying “I got this” as he calls for medical attention for the audience member.
“OK, I got it, I got it, let’s get a little bit of help here, someone fainted, I got it,” Biden said.
“Can we get some help out? Raise your hands here, where he or she is.
“OK, we have been standing a long time, do we have any medical help here?
“Here they come, I don’t think we can get through that way,” Biden said in the clip as people offering assistance attempted to get to the individual off-screen.
He added: “Hang on a minute, it will be OK, coming through both ways here, it is a lot of standing.”
The crowd began to cheer and clap and an individual off-screen then shouts to Biden that they got her. Biden then received another round of applause.
His speech at the college is likely the president’s last before the election on Tuesday, where Republicans are expected to make gains across the country.
Last week Thursday Biden acknowledged that he may face difficult times ahead if the GOP does well in the midterm elections.
He has said that he faced the threat of impeachment if Republicans are able to gain control of Congress.
Biden made the admission as he campaigned for Democratic Representative Mike Levin, who is running for re-election in California’s 49th congressional district.
“I’m already being told if they win back the House and Senate, they’re gonna impeach me,” Biden told a crowd in San Diego. “I don’t know what the hell they’re gonna impeach me for.”
The remark caused laughter in the audience but Biden continued: “No, I’m not joking.”
“Recently they said ‘we should stop talking about that ’til we win,’” the president added.
Biden may have been referring to a report in The New York Times on October 28 that said a number of Republicans wanted to “hush” talk about potential impeachment.
Some Republicans have been pushing for Biden to be impeached and control of the House could increase the pressure on the GOP leadership to vote on articles of impeachment.
In 2021 Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced a resolution in the House to impeach Biden but with Democrats in control of the chamber, the resolution found limited support.
