The former president has launched blistering attacks against his successor in statements this week.

The withdrawal from Afghanistan was originally proposed under the Trump administration, but has since been carried out during Biden’s tenure.

Questions have been raised over how this has been handled following the Taliban entering Kabul on Sunday.

Trump has spearheaded criticism of the way the situation has been handled under Biden.

A Newsmax article, shared by Trump’s chief spokesperson Liz Harrington, reports he will continue to focus on Afghanistan during a rally on Saturday in Alabama.

Newsmax has reported that a “knowledgeable source” said: “Trump will be exposing President Biden’s Afghanistan disaster.”

The rally on Saturday is to be held at York Family Farms in Cullman, from 7:00 p.m. CDT (8:00 p.m. EDT), with doors opening at 2:00 p.m. CDT (3:00 p.m. EDT) , according to the Trump website.

Newsmax’s report said it is expected to be Trump’s largest rally so far since leaving office.

In a statement released Thursday, Trump outlined a route which he thinks should have been taken in leaving Afghanistan—stating bases should have been bombed “into smithereens.”

“First you bring out all of the American citizens. Then you bring out ALL equipment. Then you bomb the bases into smithereens—AND THEN YOU BRING OUT THE MILITARY. You don’t do it in reverse order like Biden and our woke Generals did,” Trump said.

“No chaos, no death—they wouldn’t even know we left!”

Trump had also previously suggested that Biden resign over the unfolding situation.

Biden in recent comments suggested that “chaos” was inevitable when U.S. forces withdrew from the nation.

“The idea that somehow there’s a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing, I don’t know how that happens,” he said in an interview with ABC News on Wednesday.

He also previously criticized the Trump administration, suggesting it signed a deal with the Taliban that left them “in the strongest position militarily since 2001.”

Biden said: “When I became President, I faced a choice—follow through on the deal, with a brief extension to get our forces and our allies’ forces out safely, or ramp up our presence and send more American troops to fight once again in another country’s civil conflict.”

Newsweek has contacted Trump’s office and the White House for comment.
