Rollins, one of the longest tenured players in Philadelphia, had a chance to say goodbye to the city and the organization when he took out a full-page ad in the Philadelphia Enquirer.

Rollins only had kind words for the Phillies fans:

He leaves the Phillies as their all-time leader in hits with 2,036. During his tenure, Rollins racked up three All-Star appearances, the 2007 MVP award and helped Philadelphia win five division championships and the 2008 World Series.

It sure will be strange to see Rollins in a uniform other than the Phillies.
