Jimmy Garoppolo had a solid showing in his team’s second preseason game, getting off to a hot start and leading a game-winning drive in the Patriots’ 26-24 victory over the Saints.

The second-year quarterback completed 28 of 33 passes for 269 yards and one touchdown, and his deep pass to Jonathan Krause helped set up a 35-yard field goal by Stephen Gostkowski for the win.
Tom Brady started the game, but went 2 for 5 for only 13 yards.
