It’s true. On Jan. 1, 2012, the Colts locked up the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft by losing their final game of the season to the Jaguars 19-13. Jones-Drew was responsible for lighting up Indianapolis by rushing for his season high 169 yards on 25 carries.

It’s not often an owner is happy about losing a game, but if that loss lands you Andrew Luck, I guess that’s sensible enough.

Now, Luck will lead the Colts against the Broncos at 4:40 p.m. on Sunday in the AFC divisional playoff game.
